Are you a business traveler who keeps track of receipts while you're on the road? Are you an organizational freak who has to log everything you do? Well you probably know what it's like to lose a receipt and then either try to remember what it was, or make it up (oops) for that expense report right? Well the folks at Ilium Software would like to help you with that. Keep Track is their answer to your problems.

Keep Track is a simple way to keep track of all of your transactions whether it is your checking, savings, ATM, or any other account you have. Instead of keeping all of your receipts, you can log your transaction in Keep Track and then forget about it until you get back home. I know what you're saying..."can't I just do that in Pocket Excel?" Well, yes you can, but Keep Track has a few nice features for you that justify the modest $16.95 price tag.

First of all, Keep Track lets you save the accounts and vendors names that you use most often so you don't have to re-type names in every time. Yes, in Excel you could copy and paste cells, but this is much faster. Secondly and most importantly, Keep Track lets you set up one touch buttons that perform an entire transaction for you with one tap of your pen. For example, let's say that before every business trip you take out $150 for petty cash. Well, you can tell Keep Track to assign that transaction to a button and away you go. You pull your money out of the ATM, and while you're waiting you tap the $150 ATM Withdrawl Transaction button and you're on your way. When you get home, you click on Transaction List and you have all your transactions listed nicely for you.

One thing that might be a small inconvenience for some people is that in the Transaction List View, if you have the 480x240 screen width you'll probably have to scroll left to right to see the entire transaction if you've entered in anything in the Notes field. Other than that, this is a nicely conceived and well written little program.

You can download a demo from CEcity or you can visit Ilium Software's web site for more info. Once downloaded, the setup is very simple and quick. Simply double-click on the KeepTrackSetup.exe file and Ilium takes care of the rest. You'll be happy with this purchase. Good job Ilium!
