Stowaway Keyboard to Get Some Competition

Belkin, a manufacturer of computer peripherals and accessories, has introduced the new G700 Series Portable Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) Keyboard for Palm and Pocket PC PDAs.

Built in conjunction with the Benq Corporation, who will be working with Belkin to bring this and other PDA input solutions to market, the G700 Series Portable PDA Keyboard is slated to be available for the following handhelds: Palm m500, m125, m130, and i705 series; Sony® CLIÉ T series; and the Toshiba e310 series. Set to start shipping on June 24th, the new G700 Series Portable PDA Keyboard should have an ESP of $79.99.

According to Belkin, the G700 Series Portable PDA Keyboard complements a user's handheld by offering a standard full-sized keyboard layout at only seven ounces. When not in use, the company said its interlocking design makes it easy to fold up and store away like the popular stowaway keyboard. Additional features include a built-in docking connector, quick-start keyboard application keys, and the ability to plug directly into any power port.
