Extended Systems, a provider of mobile data management and wireless connectivity solutions,has released XTNDConnect PC version 4.8.

According to Extended Systems, XTNDConnect PC is a software application that enables individual users to synchronize various personal information management applications, such as contacts, calendar and email to a desktop or laptop computer. It supports Windows CE, Pocket PC, Palm O/S, Casio Pocket Viewer mobile devices, and select Sony Ericsson mobile phones. The company said Supported PC applications include Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Organizer, Lotus Notes, ACT!, Goldmine, and NetManage Ecco Pro applications.

The new version of software adds synchronization support for three additional personal information management applications, including Microsoft Outlook Notes, Palm Memo Pad and Lotus Notes Journal. Other enhancements include read/unread email status filters and support for ACT! 5.0.

XTNDConnect PC version 4.8 is available for $59.95 per individual license. Previously purchased XTNDConnect PC versions can be upgraded for $39.95 per license. The company said Enterprise pricing is available.
