Infinity Softworks, a provider of calculator and analysis software applications for handheld computers, announced a version of powerOne Finance for Microsoft Windows.

The company said the Windows version is fully compatible with Palm OS and Pocket PC versions, allowing users to synchronize financial calculations and templates between their desktop and handheld computers. Infinity Softworks said powerOne Finance wraps all the financial and business analysis functions of high-end financial calculators into easy-to-use templates, letting users add calculation templates to customize powerOne Finance for their individual business and education needs.

According to Infinity Softworks, powerOne outlines advanced financial calculations such as Time Value of Money and Cash Flows in calculation templates. Besides the built-in calculation templates for business, finance, statistics and unit and currency conversions, the company said more than 100 add-on templates are available for a variety of business and technical needs, including real estate, financial planning, business management and investing.

powerOne Finance v4.1 runs on PCs with Windows 98 or higher, Pocket PC-based device (2000 or 2002) and on any Palm OS-based device using Palm OS Version 3.1 or higher. The synchronization module for Palm OS and Windows versions is available immediately and is included with the Windows version of powerOne Finance. The company expects the Pocket PC synchronization module to be available in the fourth quarter. it will be available free to customers of the Windows and Pocket PC versions.
