Dell is for the consumers
I love the way that Dell has come out and forced the market to adjust the once constantly rising price and falling quality of consumer electronics. They put out quality products at unreal prices and competitors have to scramble to keep up.
The Axim is an outstanding PDA, the best that I've ever used. I've not had hands on the X3 yet, but any advancement on the X5 is improving on an already near perfect device. Integrated wireless is just a deal sealer. With all of the hotspots online now, you can sync your PPC from near anywhere. I can imagine a drive-by sync at Starbucks.
As for the price, I bought a Casiopeia a few years ago, used, for $250.00 and now I can get a brand new Dell, direct, for less than that. It's cheaper now to buy a Dell than to build a computer myself, amazing. I'm definately a Dell fan. Now if they would only make cars....

Not all that
Dell should have just upgraded the AXIM X5 with the built in wi-fi of the Axim X3i. I don't know why they removed the CompactFlash® Type II slot for. If you decide to get the basic or the advanced versions of the Axim X3 you'll be really mad to know that when you add a wi-fi card in the only available SDIO slot there will be no room to add a memory card or stick!!!!

Dell please.......shoulda done better. Now I have to resort to a HP iPaq 2215.
