LandWare announced today that it has reached the final candidate stage of the Pocket PC version of the Wine Enthusiast Guide, already available for the Palm OS.

LandWare has teamed with Wine Enthusiast Magazine to offer the mobile companion for choosing, evaluating, managing and enjoying wine. The company said the software includes an extensive 10,000+ wine buying guide, cellar management tools, a vintage chart and 1,400 term glossary. Like the original Palm OS version, the software will sell for $24.95.

The release version is expected to be available online by the end of August and will be compatible with all Pocket PC 2000 and later devices. Pocket PC users can sign-up to be notified when it is shipping on the Landware website.
