MPx specs
I have the MPx phone and would be happy to answer any questions on specs. First, it does allow VPN (both IPSec/L2TP and PPTP). RAM 32MB, ROM 64 MB, ResidentFlash 16MB, CPU type ARM OMAP 733, 195MHz, built in Wireless LAN adapter and Bluetooth.

When will the real thing be launched officially?
Since there is nothing concrete coming out from Motorola so far, we can't really get our hands to try it out to see what are the pros, cons and interesting parts of the device. But it is good to delay the product launch in order to iron out the bugs if any as this would benefit the consumers in the end. Also, one of the most requested features for a smartphone is the easy access one-button voice memo (or voice recorder as it is called by some) which could record two-way live phone conversation between the caller and the other party talking on the line.

This is most useful and quite important in terms of safety especially when one is concentrating on driving on the road. Having this feature frees the driver from having the need to jot important things (like road directions or other information) down on paper while talking on the smartphone but driving haphazardly.

RAM?
How much RAM? What processor? how fast? Sheesh, you'd think they would list that stuff. The article never says the slot is SDIO, so how do you know it is?
