Cingular and HP Launch iPAQ H6320/6325

It's not on the Cingular Web site yet, but HP today started selling its iPAQ Pocket PC H6320 ($579) and H6325 ($599 with VGA-resolution camera) for use with Cingular's digital wireless network.

The 6.7-ounce handhelds feature three-way wireless capabilities, automatically connecting to the fastest available network -- Cingular's GSM/GPRS, 802.11b WiFi, or Bluetooth -- and switching to an alternate network if the initial connection is lost.

The new PDAs offer a 3.5-inch transflective screen (64K colors) with 240 by 320 resolution; 64MB of SDRAM (55MB user-accessible) plus up to 20MB of nonvolatile iPaq File Store space; a Texas Instruments OMAP 1510 processor; a Secure Digital/MultiMediaCard flash slot; and Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition software for Pocket PC, combining mini versions of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Internet Explorer with phone and speakerphone functionality. Each measures 1.9 by 3 by 1.8 inches and comes with a removable, snap-on thumb keyboard.
