A number of screen shots and a video have emerged showing the next edition of Microsoft's operating system for smartphone in action. Windows Mobile 6.5 Build 23022 shows what’s long been rumored: Redmond is developing a more finger-friendly platform that may, eventually, lead to the demise of the stylus. At the bottom of the screen are some buttons, for example, and there's an easy way to zoom in and out of images and text. See here for technical specs of this build of Windows Mobile 6.5. The platform upgrade is due to ship this fall.
