I have a refurbished HPW 630ETR eplate and am looking for someone or some place to find some information regarding troubleshooting this device. Does anyone have any contacts related to support. (Like where are these refurbs coming from? Can they help me?) Hitachi does not seem to have any current information on its web site for it as it is a discontinued line. Also Microsoft has almost zero support information on CE 2.12 as it is a developers version.The problem is I cant get any programs to install via Activesync 3.5(or 3.1). The eplate tells me it is out of memory when I try to sync from my PC(and a application is loading). It as 32mb ram so there should be plenty of RAM and nothing loaded on it (its been completely reset). The memory settings seems to be configured correctly in the system properties. I have also tried copying the .cab files direct to the device when connected via activesync, then clicking on the .cab file but the eplate does not have a file association with .cab. Is this because the OS is CE 2.12? What's up? I'm totally stuck!
