Message:I just bought a brand new z50 (ordered from Infinity Micro), and everything seems fine except that the modem won't connect with my ISP. It seems to connect fine at first, but when it gets to the authentication stage, it disconnects. I checked all the settings, including password with my ISP, and they don't see why it won't work. Then, to make things more interesting I took the PC card modem from my Gateway Solo laptop and put it in the Z50. It behaved exactly the same way as the internal modem!! I had the AC power on, so I don't think it's a power issue. Could this be a Window CE thing? Do some ISP's have trouble recognizing it? My ISP tech guy said that a modem is a modem is a modem and that the operating system shouldn't hinder how it connects. Any ideas out there? Thanks!
