Message:My z50 blinked off a few weeks ago when attempting to use a PC card NIC (I did check to make sure it was a WinCE compatible one before popping it in). It got put on a shelf, and I'm just now getting around to firing it back up. The backup batteries ran dry, and all the data's gone...that's to be expected, though. I've got current backups, and was figuring on using them. The real problem is that the first thing I noticed on plugging the z50 in and powering it up is that the screen was whacked out. With just a little bump, it will flash as though the brightness setting were turned way up, and then return to normal. Best I can figure is that the connection in the joint between the screen and keyboard is causing the problem. Any idea how this could have happened (it was just sitting around!) and what can be done about it? -Bob
