Though it would seem that even MS Windows IR print drivers on my Dell laptop work at 9600 bps or some other speed equally dinosaur. BTW, there's a new program to help facilitate file transfers--IrDAsh 2.0. It's in beta at bitbank software: http://hive.speedhost.com You can blast a file to a laptop and vice versa much faster than ActiveSync.
