Message:I bought this unit used and it sems to be in great shape. It did not come with the serial cord or sync software. I need to put software on it to access my ISP but I have no way to transfer info from my computer to the unit. My questions are:
Can this unit really view modern interent web pages? Can the unit transfer information rapidly through the IR port and could this take the place of the serial cord? Can I transfer files from my main computer to the phenom using the flash card. If I go through the work and money of purchasing a flash card, serial cord and software, will I have a useful device for checking email, basic net surfing and note taking, calendar keeping. Or am I best served to use this as a stand alone product for calendar and addresses? The bottom line question is
is this unit too outdated to be a useful item? Just trying to save a hundred bucks!
