Trouble Installing Windows CE on Nino 300

I sucessfully installed Schedule+ from CD, but could not get Windows to install. Windows XP gave me an error message that I needed to remove RAS (Remote Access Services). I tried this but still could not install CE. Then I saw a message on this board suggesting Active Sync 3.5. I have installed Active Sync and I can sync info to the Nino, what am I missing by not having Windows CE? Do I even need it? Is this message offensive or in violation of this board's policies?
