The ROM mini-card bay takes a 4-Meg Philips Flash Memory mini-card (these can be swapped in and out at will, however you need to load the Flash.exe driver software to get the Velo-500 to recognize the card -- sometimes you need to do a "hard-reset" the first time you load the card and install the driver software to get the Velo-500 to recognize the card).
