Thanks, tried all of the above, did it again today. Velo Power Properties says both batteries are "good" however, if I pull the main battery out, the Velo loses all data; all software and all files are gone just as if I did a hard reset. The most annoying is that I only get about 45 minutes of use before the main battery runs “low,” using the Philips rechargeable battery, rechargeable NiMH batteries from an external charger and plain old Eveready batteries from K-Mart, all go dead in 40 minutes of use or 3 hours on “Suspend” or “Off.”
At the bottom of the Power Properties it says
”Main Batteries were installed on: Not Supported
Total amount of time on Main Batteries: Not Supported
Percentage of Main Batteries power left: Not Supported”
Is this correct?
