I had the problems when I was trying to use the version of HPC Explorer that was downloaded from the Internet. When I installe HPC Explorer / Win CE 1.0 from the original CD, I had no problem. My Velo 1 is synching with my Window 2000 without any difficulty. See if somebody out there can get you the original software if you do not have it.
