Velo500 datapump?

Everything worked fine. Now, I've lost the input from my phone port, so I can't hear anything and get "no dialtone" all the time (good phone line). The old velo1 had to have the datapump installed and registered in the control panel. This velo500 has the datapump.dll, but nothing in add/remove programs. Is this right?
