It detects most of the devices (e.g. other iPAQs, cellular phones) but it can not receive data e.g. contact which are sent to my iPAQ. Sending contacts to other devices is usually no problem. I also wanted to sync my ipaq over IrDA but Active Sync does not detect the iPAQ.
