WinDriver CE is a device driver development toolkit for the Windows CE platform which enables the developer to quickly create a hardware access application on Windows CE, without having to master the CE kernel.
WinDriver CE supports the PCMCIA, PCI, USB, EISA AND ISA busses, and offers enhanced Support for the leading PCI chip-set vendors (PLX, Altera, QuickLogic, Galileo, V3 ,PLDA, and AMCC).
WinDriver CE saves you valuable time by providing an intuitive API which encapsulates the CE kernel, and provides you with easy hardware access functionality. WinDriver's powerful Wizard enables you to use a friendly 'point & click' graphical interface to diagnose your hardware before writing a line of code. After the hardware is verified, the Wizard automatically creates your hardware access application.
Cross Platforms / Multi OS:
A driver written using WinDriver for Windows CE will also work with, Windows NT Embedded, VxWorks, Windows 2000/NT, 98/95, Solaris and Linux, just compile and run.
WinDriver CE will run on all CPUs supported by microsoft's platform builder.
