The ability to pronounce words is the distinguishing feature of this software translator. You do not have to check the transcription, merely select the word and with one click make the speech synthesizer pronounce it for you. The synthesizer (Text-to-Speech engine) is based on a new approach to speech synthesis, i.e. on formanta synthesis, which creates a human vocal tract simulation by modelling sounds of a national language.

The new Arabic-English dictionary is an extensive language resource. It features a searchable database of 400,000 words and phrases. Each entry is completed with part of speech information and provides several lexical meaning for all polysemantic words.

The dictionary has the full support for Arabic language. It allows the right-to-left typing of the Arabic characters and provides right-side text justification, and a full set of Arabic diacritics. It is simple to switch between Arabic and English. A special on-screen keyboard makes it easy to enter the Arabic characters.
