More suggestions?
I like the program very muchs beacuse a)icon position could be rearranged easily, b)icon bar could be minimized and c)option of hiding or always on top. However the bug related to focus problem is annoying. If it was a shareware I would have asked my mone back by now.

1. Could the icons for running programs be highlited?
2. Could an icon for the program be added on the task bar - I think it will be better than to use Today screen.

A small bug..
When I close a window (folder or program) status bar is not updated, still showing the program/folder including the X at upper right hand corner though the folder/program is already closed and there nomore folder or program opened. The PDA will not response repeated tapping on the X and therefore next folder aplication can not be closed unlnless the screen is tapped outside the status bar before tapping the X. Actually there is "Password" shown on the status bar instead of "Start" immediately after switiching on the PDA.

There is no problem if the FAM is closed.

Good programs but could be better.
Thank you very much for this very useful freeware. I installed it less than 24 hours ago without any problem. I have some suggestions for the improvement of the program.

1. With "Close All Tasks" this program is also shutdown. If it is integrated with Today screen it would be better.

2. Option to start the program in either maximized or minimized would be cool.

3. I can not link many system programs susch as Inbox, Contacts, Calander, iTask etc with the shortcuts. If this is shortcoming of the program then could it be improved?

4. There is no easy way to shutdown individual task. If there is a possibility to tap and hold one of the icons to pop-up a menu for closing this task or all tasks or switching to another task then this program will be extraordinary.

the loader
the loader is needed if you have installed the FAM to the storage card. It's only function is the delay to let the storage card drivers be loaded before starting the main FAM file. So if you didn't install the program to the storage card (compact flash, or smth else) you don't need the loader at all.

Excellent Utility
This is an A++++ utility. I have been using PHM Tray Launch but this is even better. Thanks for this great app.

Question. What is the need for the loader? I have modified the startup link to point to the program itself because I moved the program directory. Everything is working just fine.

I have an Ipaq 1940 and when installing it asks: Do you want to install? I say Yes but nothing happens. I'm running on Pocket Windows 3 in spanish, does it have anything to do with it?

Great app, but here's a question
I have been using Fast Access Menu 2.0i on my HP Jornada 565 for the last couple of days, and it works perfectly, but I have a question about the StartUp menu shortcut:

The FAM installer creates a shortcut to an executable file (I think the name is menuloader.exe) located in the Windows folder. Why is that necessary?

I have FAM set to be on top. Whenever a soft reset is executed, FAM comes up over my other startup application, as it should, but the focus is immediately switched to FAM, because it was the last program to load. I've found that placing a shortcut to the program itself (Program FilesFast Access Menumenuman.exe) in WindowsStartUp will load FAM before any other applications. This is faster, and places the focus where I want it to be when I start using the PDA. I've deleted menuloader.exe from Windows, and this hasn't affected FAM's functions at all.
