    Description:
    News sites are rarely suited to browsing even when they have been specially formatted for PDAs. Furthermore, services such as Avantgo limit you to a closed set of sites and don't allow you to filter news based on your own search preferences.

    Pocket News solves this problem by retrieving news while you are online (including via your PC using Activesync!) and displaying a filtered version offline while you are not connected. Pocket News also works with wireless connected devices to download and filter news articles.

    Pocket News allows you to define new multiple news sources (PDA news sites). These are run through user-defined filters which allow you to search, for specific keywords in the title or article text, all article sources or one selected article source. You can also limit the number of articles returned for a given filter.
