Pocket FTP is a graphical dialog window that lets you tab between local and remote directory views to transfer file or entire directories using File Transfer Protocol (FTP). Pocket FTP implements the most widely used FTP commands like get, put, mget, mput, mkdir, rmdir, and ls. You never have to type file names, just 1) tab from the local to remote directory trees and 2) click the file/directory you want to transfer then 3) hit get or put. Pocket FTP remembers all of your settings and stores server user IDs and passwords so you only have to type them in once. Edit directly in drop down boxes to change directories or add hosts to your Pocket PC. This version features multithreaded FTP client with connection pooling. This means you can transfer multiple files from different servers at the same time or put files while you are getting. Thread pooling assures that you always have access to the FTP connection and are not constantly reconnecting and maintain a quick always-on type of connection with the server. Multithreading allows you to browse different directories while you are transferring files and perform multiple operations simultaneously. All transactions are maintained on an FTP tab within a dropdown combo box. Check the status of any or all commands in progress or cancel a single transfer while leaving others undisturbed.
